Dear Doctors:

We would like to introduce you to a new and innovative program that uses relaxation, guided imagery, and psycho education, along with low frequency sound, to help address many types of psychological and some types of physical problems.  This program has shown terrific results for several disorders such as anxiety, low self-esteem, adjustment difficulties, depression, sleeplessness, pain, and panic.

Psychotherapy and medication are absolutely necessary in the treatment of many disorders.  The goal of Sound for Healing Institute is to enhance and support traditional medical treatment.  Recent clinical evidence, in the form of meta-analysis, indicate that individuals suffering from conditions such as insomnia, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, headache, and chronic back pain, can benefit from adjunct psychotherapeutic techniques such as muscle relaxation, guided imagery, stress management, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.  These methods comprise the core of the Sound for Healing process.

This program is also designed to complement traditional psychotherapy. Furthermore, because there are so many individuals without insurance, we have kept the cost low enough to be affordable for cash paying patients who are not able to access psychotherapy.

Enclosed, you will find some of our literature, including a brochure explaining the program, and some introductory postcards offering a free first session.  If you would like more information, please feel free to visit our website at http://www.Sound-for-Healing.com, or call the Institute at 563-1000.  On the website you will find a complete explanation of the program, as well as references and reviews of the research supporting the theoretical basis for this program.

Please take the time to look through this material, and perhaps pass on the postcards to individuals who may benefit from the program.
